Project profile

The catalogue grows around a small number of voices and recognisable lines of enquiry. Documentary research remains central, but is never separated from voice, structure and editorial form. Varchi Books publishes in Italian and English.

Giovanni Lorusso is the author of narrative essays and visual atlases on cities, places, heritage and image culture. His books combine documentary research with narrative form, examining how memory, myth and contemporary transformation alter the ways in which we inhabit and represent the world.
